THE SEE SEE RIDERS - LATEST NEWS
Finalist of the International Blues Challenge (IBC) 2025 in Memphis, Tennessee
We still can't believe it: The year started with a highlight for us - on January 4th we flew to Memphis to represent Germany at the International Blues Challenge (IBC). As the only acoustic band among the participants, we didn't have great expectations, as the taste there is more electric and rock.
So we were even more delighted when we reached the semi-finals! We celebrated this success properly, because it was already a big step for us. Playing the semi-finals at the Blues City Café was a challenge, especially since we were the last band to perform that evening. But the night became unforgettable when the finalists were announced: out of over 100 acts, we were voted into the top 5 in the band category!
The final took place in the magnificent Orpheum Theater in Memphis. Although we didn't make it to the winners' podium, we are incredibly proud of our achievement.
We will always remember this experience. A big thank you to BalticBlues eV, the Blues Foundation and our wonderful colleague Richie Arndt, with whom we were able to share this special experience.
We are proud of what we have achieved and look forward to everything that is still to come!

Winner of the German Blues Challenge 2024
We are delighted to announce that we have won the German Blues Challenge 2024!
Our trip to Eutin was an unforgettable experience - we had the opportunity to see old friends again and make new ones. It was great to meet so many talented musicians and bands, each of whom deserved to be on the top step of the podium. But in the end, the jury chose us and we are incredibly happy and proud of that.
A big thank you goes to everyone who has supported us along the way! We would especially like to thank Baltic Blues eV – without you none of this would have been possible.
And it remains exciting: We have been nominated for the International Blues Challenge (IBC) 2025 in Memphis and for the European Blues Challenge (EBC) 2025 in Split, Croatia! We have also already received some high-profile requests for concerts and festivals.
Of course, we couldn't have come this far without the support of our loyal fans and friends. You are amazing!
We Love You Guys!!!

Blues Jamboree Bamberg - A complete success
We would like to thank everyone who helped make the Blues Jamboree Bamberg such a great evening. The event was completely sold out and the musicians played for their last shirt. We would especially like to thank the great colleagues and friends from Black Patti, with whom we jammed until the early hours. Also a huge thank you to the Kufa Bamberg and the cultural team of the city of Bamberg for their support.
Under the circumstances there can only be a Volume II !!!

Blues Jamboree Bamberg
Watch out! Premiere! The concert series "Blues Jamboree Bamberg" will take place for the first time in March 2024. The term "Jamboree" comes from the Native American language and means something like a peaceful dance and music event. We want to put this into practice properly and have invited our highly valued colleagues from Black Patti. The whole thing will take place in Bamberg.
So, secure your tickets. We look forward to seeing you.

dates in 2023
Dear people,
2022 was a very eventful year for us. We played a lot and made a lot of new contacts. Next year we have a few shows and will even be active abroad. More on that soon, so that it remains a surprise. We will also be recording a new album, which will probably be released in 2024. More on that at some point. We are looking forward to recording our new songs and ideas.
First of all, thank you very much for the great support and for the joy and love that was shown to us. We are looking forward to 2023!!!
What a blast we had! Impressions from the 2nd American Roots Festival with Black Patti and Sir Oliver Mally
We have had many wonderful evenings together, but this festival turned out to be something very special. We had the great honour of sharing the stage with Black Patti and Sir Oliver Mally. After all the bands/musicians had played a long set, there was a great jam session afterwards where the sparks flew. We won't forget the evening any time soon. Many thanks to the organisers Peter Crow C. and Ferdi "Jelly Roll" Kraemer as well as to the PUC in Puchheim. Hopefully see you soon!

2022: 2. American Roots Festival
We are really looking forward to the next date, when we can fill Puchheim with blues and roots music with great colleagues. This will be one of our highlights this year. Ferdi and Peter - Black Patti - visited us on our tour last year and did us the honor of playing a few songs with them. This year we are playing with them at the 2nd American Roots Festival. This is something really special for us, because in Black Patti we have not only found musical relatives who are passionate about blues & roots music, but also role models who we look up to. The great Austrian "Sir" Oliver Mally will also be there. To new and old friends. Come along!

We are playing again in the Kaiserkeller in Detmold and are looking forward to seeing Steve and our friends and acquaintances, as well as those who want to become friends.

MUSIK
Just my Kind - New video from the Greenhouse Session
We were busy! It sounds like we had a lot of hard work that we now want to boast about. That's only half the truth. We actually had a lot of fun at the so-called "Greenhouse Session", which was supported by Funkloch Musik , Kraken Audio and Kilian Keuchel on camera. The Hopfengarten Bamberg also provided us with some beer samples, which made working with the wonderful backdrop and the great team even more enjoyable. Beer and chilli, don't go together? After this Elix(b)ier we were definitely pretty "on fire", as the following video proves. So stop by the Hopfengarten. Two more recordings follow.

Sinister Swing in bluesnews - Issue 105
Head to the kiosk tomorrow and get a current issue of Bluesnews. Many thanks to Klaus Kilian for the excellent album review. Here is a small excerpt:
"And the arrangements give the pieces their own character - there is no copying here, but rather imaginative interpretation. The four original, extremely creative songs are also very impressive. [...] The band members are all extremely competent on their instruments."
